About Us

Quick Websites Australia is a trading name of Sao Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 42 678 867 500). We are an Australian-owned business offering rapid website development and ongoing website maintenance services. Our registered office is in Victoria, Australia.


Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, subscribing to or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


Services

New Website Development

We offer three fixed-price packages:

  • Basic Website – up to 3 pages, suitable for small businesses or start-ups. Includes post-launch support for 7 days.

  • Standard Website – up to 8 pages with extra features such as optional payment and newsletter setup. Includes post-launch support for 14 days.

  • Pro Website – up to 15 pages, with additional features like analytics/tag manager and blog posts. Includes post-launch support for 30 days.

All packages include on-page SEO, SSL setup, mobile optimisation and unlimited stock images. We aim to launch your site within 24–72 hours after receiving payment and all required content.

Website Editing & Maintenance Plans

We provide monthly subscription plans for ongoing updates and site care:

  • Basic Updates – up to 5 small edits and 1 new page per month; monthly plugin and theme updates; basic accessibility audit; monthly performance snapshot; 72-hour turnaround; support via email and portal.

  • Growth Updates – up to 15 small edits and 3 new pages per month; weekly updates; site health check; basic accessibility audit; monthly performance snapshot; 48-hour turnaround; support via email, portal and chat.

  • Priority Maintenance – unlimited small edits and up to 5 new pages per month; weekly updates, backups and security scans; site health check; monthly performance snapshot; 24-hour turnaround; support via email, portal, phone and chat.

Unused edits and page allowances do not carry over. Plan changes take effect on your next billing cycle.


Development Process (New Websites)

  1. Consultation & Project Brief
    We define your website’s scope, features and content.

  2. Up-front Payment
    Full payment (including GST) is required before work commences.

  3. Content Submission
    You must supply all text, images, logos and branding assets before development begins.

  4. Staging Site
    We build your site on a private staging environment and share a link for review.

  5. Revisions & Approval
    During your package’s post-launch support period, you may request revisions until you are satisfied.

  6. Go-Live
    Once approved, we deploy your website to your chosen domain and hosting provider. If needed, we can assist in registering your domain and setting up hosting as part of the project.


Maintenance Process (Editing & Maintenance Plans)

  • Submitting Requests
    Use our client portal or designated support channels to request edits, new pages or other maintenance tasks.

  • Turnaround
    Tasks will be completed within the turnaround time specified for your plan (72, 48 or 24 hours). Complex requests may require additional time or a separate quote.

  • Scope
    Plans include content updates, new pages/features within your monthly allowance, plugin/theme updates, backups and security checks.

  • Plan Changes
    You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time; changes take effect on the next billing cycle.

  • Cancellation
    You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current month.


Client Responsibilities

  • Provide Accurate Information
    Ensure all content you provide is lawful and does not infringe any third‑party rights.

  • Timely Feedback
    Provide feedback and approvals promptly to avoid delays.

  • Technical Access
    Supply necessary credentials (domain registrar, hosting, etc.) so we can complete your project or maintenance tasks.

  • Compliance with Third‑Party Terms
    Adhere to any terms imposed by third‑party platforms (e.g., hosting providers).


Payment & Fees

  • Development Packages
    The price you see is the price you pay for the package you select. Payment must be made in full before work commences.

  • Maintenance Plans
    Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. We may adjust our pricing; any changes will be communicated before they take effect.

  • Non‑payment
    Failure to pay may result in suspension of services until payment is received.


Refund Policy

  • New Website Development
    Full payment is required before work commences. Once development begins, all fees are non‑refundable except where required by the Australian Consumer Law. We provide a post‑launch support period during which you may request revisions until you are satisfied.

  • Maintenance Plans
    Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance and are non‑refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

  • Statutory Rights
    Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


Intellectual Property

  • Company IP
    Any pre‑existing templates, code or tools remain our property. We grant you a licence to use them within your website.

  • Client IP
    You retain ownership of all content you supply and warrant that you have permission to use it.

  • Ownership Transfer
    After full payment and final approval, the unique design and visual elements of your website are transferred to you. Unless you request otherwise, we may display your site in our portfolio.


Hosting, Domain Names & Third‑Party Services

We can register domain names and arrange hosting on your behalf as part of your project. You will own these accounts from day one. We are not liable for downtime or issues arising from hosting providers or other third‑party services.


Support & Warranty

  • New Websites
    You receive complimentary support for the duration of your package’s post‑launch support period. We will fix bugs and make minor text or image changes during this time. Further changes after the support period require a maintenance plan.

  • Maintenance Plans
    Support is ongoing under your chosen subscription. Edits and pages are subject to the monthly allowances in your plan; additional work may require an upgrade or separate quote.

  • Limitations
    We are not responsible for problems caused by changes made by you or third parties, nor for issues outside our control (e.g., hosting outages, third‑party software updates, security breaches).


Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the total fees paid by you for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or loss‑of‑profit damages. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses or expenses arising from the content you provide, your misuse of the services or your breach of these Terms.


Termination

  • By You
    You may cancel a development project before Go‑Live. However, payments are non‑refundable once work has commenced except as required under the Australian Consumer Law. Maintenance plans may be cancelled at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

  • By Us
    We may suspend or terminate services if you breach these Terms. If we terminate a subscription without cause, we will provide a pro‑rated refund of the unused portion of your maintenance plan.


Confidentiality & Privacy

Both parties agree to keep each other’s confidential information private and use it only for fulfilling the project. We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics or failures of third‑party services.


Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.


Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of the services after the changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
